Here are five prompts to help you turn inward and find a deeper connection to yourself today.


How does every part of my body feel in this moment?

Start from your toes and work your way up to the crown of your head. This will help you gain a sense of presence and awareness in your body to start you off with your journaling.

What do I know to be true that I didn’t know a year ago?

2020 has been an unpredictable year, to say the least. Use this prompt to reflect on what you have learned in the past year. If more than one thing comes to mind, make a list and reflect on each one.

What’s surprised you the most about your life, or about life in general?

What did you think you knew about life that proved to be the opposite? What were you not expecting to learn about life?

Make a list of all of the things you would like to say ‘no’ to.
